Five Non-Profit Case Studies

Amidst the world of giving, is a fiercely competitive environment.  Creative Intelligence has track record for helping non-profits stand out and gain the attention and recognition they need to attract noteworthy donations. Here are a handful of non-profit case studies led by CI founder Mark Schneider:

CASE STUDY # 1: PHILLY FOUNDED

OriginalStartupCity The Story: Philadelphia’s startup ecosystem is not recognized outside of the city itself. Yet Philly has a very noteworthy start-up heritage. Truth be told, Philly was the home of America’s first business plan— The Declaration of Independence. It is also also the home of many of “firsts”.

Founder Mark Schneider teamed with the Seed Philly Founder Brad Denenberg and created the campaign: Philly Founded: The Original Start-up City. The campaign will pay tribute to dozens of famous Philly Firsts. It will proudly introduce the Declaration of Innovation… and publicize dozens of Philly’s most noted start-ups. The campaign was originally planned to break during Philly Tech week, but has been pushed back to a Fall launch. Stay tuned.

Years later, the campaign resurfaced as a national campaign. It morphed into a Child Abuse awareness campaign by the NBA. It was the recipient of many awards.

CASE STUDY # 4: AMERICAN RED CROSS:

At J.Walter Thompson, Mark headed up the American Red Cross: National Blood Drive. Years later, he had the opportunity to translate that learning into a campaign for the Greenwich CT. Chapter. The “Make Greenwich Rich Again, radio and poster campaign, which was initiated, created and launched by Mark and some of his associates, starred home town celebrities like Burt Parks and Ron Howard and catapulted Greenwich from last to first in the state in blood donations… in six weeks. It was one of the most celebrated donation campaigns of its kind.
